The annual RemaxWorld Expo saw 468 exhibitors, from 28 countries and regions, shake hands on new deals with the 14,566 visitors that attended from 83 countries.
Recycling Times Media and CCPIT ran the record-breaking event at the Zhuhai Convention and Exhibition Center from October 13 to 15, 2016. “The crowds are even bigger this year,” was the comment passed on to the organizers from hundred of show participants. In fact there was a 133.65 percent increase in international buyers and 220 percent increase in first-time visitors.
Better Service for International Buyers
With the increasing demand for one-stop purchasing, the organizer ran multiple events side by side. Visitors were able to see print consumables and also visit 3D printing and copier consumables exhibits seamlessly.
The past ten years has seen the number of exhibitors increase from 113 to 468, to make the fair the world largest print consumables expo—a position it has now held for seven successive years. The business matching service launched by the organizer also met a positive result with hosted buyers from Europe, North America, South America, Middle East, Africa, Australia, India and South Asia. The highest purchasing amount from individual buyers reached US$5 million.
Emerging market in Egypt in 2017
RT Media continued to expand the international market in Europe, America and Asia during the past year. Next year, RT Media will have its first EMEA (Europe-Middle East-Africa) event on April 23-24, holding its popular RT Summit & Expo in Cairo Egypt, leading and developing the aftermarket industry in the Mediterranean, Gulf and Northern African regions.
According to research from various industry analysts, the print consumables industry is continuing to develop in this region. At present, the OEMs have almost 90 percent of a growing local market in Egypt. There are opportunities for the OEMs as well s the Aftermarket. More and more consumers are becoming aware of the choice to use Aftermarket products without compromising quality and at a better price. Egypt is a gateway destination for all of EMEA.
In 2016, RT Media successfully held RT Imaging events in Barcelona, Spain and Cancun Mexico, largely influencing the countries in Europe, Africa, North and South Americas.

In 2017, RT Media will start its global business expos in Cairo, Egypt (April), to be followed by the Cancun, Mexico (June) and RemaxWorld Expo in October.
