A leading provider of sales and services of office technology in the U.S. has been acquired by a subsidiary of Xerox. The details of the agreement were not disclosed.

According to The Imaging Channel, the ASI Business Solutions (ASI) is based in Dallas of Texas, and it serves the greater Dallas-Fort Worth region.

As revealed, ASI offers customers options of document technology from office copiers and printers to production printing and mailing solutions.

Ken Copeland will continue to be the President of ASI. Copeland has over 30 years of experience in the document technology industry. Scott Wiggins, who also has a 30-year experience in the industry, will be the Executive Vice President of ASI.

Copeland said, “We consider ASI a people-driven technology company, and the breadth of experience Xerox and GIS bring to our organization gives me confidence that we’ll continue exceeding our customers’ expectations.”

This acquisition is said to enable GIS to witness a strong growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
