CET Group has acquired the company which is the “largest distributer of compatible copier parts” in Brazil.
After six months of negotiations the acquisition of PAULIMAC has been finalised and the company will now be named PAULIMAC and CET Group Brazil. The deal includes other assets such as PAULIMAC’s estate, buildings and their warehouses.
CET also acquired PAULIMAC’s toner cartridge refilling facility, BENIFICA, which will now be called BENIFICA and CET Group Brazil. The negotiations were undertaken by Steven Ma, President, CET Group and Elizabeth Barbosa, Senior Manager of CET Group USA.
The acquisition was said to be “big step forward for CET’s globalization strategy” and will “strengthen the development of the South American market”. The company will “manufacture copier cartridges and expand toner filling lines”.
CET stated: “This is the third overseas branch that CET Group has developed in 2017 alone, and we have the utmost confidence that this new branch will expand the market in Brazil and in South America. This acquisition clearly demonstrates CET Group’s strength, as well as its commitment to globalization.” They also said that the merger would have a “positive impact” on CET Group’s “culture and development”
