Brother are among the first OEMs to roll out a series of new, powerful, monochrome laser and all-in-one printers targeting a full range of businesses and home offices.

The new machines highlight workflow, high volume, and connectivity features. The Brother L5000 and L6000-series models can connect with most mobile technologies, including Google Cloud Print 2.0, AirPrint, and Mopria. According to Brother, most of the models can support cloud connectivity, which enables users to print directly from popular cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, and OneDrive, as well as to scan to the cloud, using services like Evernote and OneNote. Some models also include NFC function.

For businesses with higher print and scan volumes, Brother is releasing the HL-6300DW printer and the MFC-L6800DW multifunction device. The HL-6300DW printer can print up to 48 pages per minute (ppm). The MFC-L6800DW can also print at up to 48 ppm, and offers a fastest-in-class monochrome scan speed of up to 50 images ppm.

The L5000- and L6000-series include seven single-function printers, six all-in-one printers, and three multifunction copiers. These models will roll out between the end of January and March.
