UniNet has released new toner formulas and components for use in three printer series.
The newly released Absolute Black® toner & components can be used in Samsung Pro Xpresss SL-M 4580 Multifunction (MFP) monochrome printer series.
UniNet notes that the Samsung Pro Xpresss SL-M 4580 MFP is “rated at 47ppm and designed to handle heavy printing volumes with high yield toner cartridges, rated at 40,000 pages, and drums rated at 100,000 pages.”
The newly released Absolute Black ® MICR toner can used in remanufactured cartridges for HP Laserjet Pro M 402 and HP Laserjet Enterprise M 506 monochrome printers.
As part of HP “JetIntelligence” series printers, the HP Laserjet Pro M402 will be able to monitor the printing performance of the toner cartridges based on drum wear and other factors to optimize print quality, page yield and cartridge life. Also, there is new anti-fraud technology used in the cartridge chips, a new toner design and an auto seal removal system. UniNet adds that both the HP Laserjet Pro M402 and the HP Enterprise M506 printers will be able to provide specialty MICR check, or cheque, printing by using special MICR toners. Plus, “these toners have been qualified, and meet ANSI, ABA and CBA specifications when matched with a compatible drum.”
For the ink segment, UniNet has introduced what it calls Absolute Color® pigmented ink for use in HP OfficeJet Pro, HP Officejet Pro X451dw/ X476dw/ x551dw/ x576dw (HP970) and HP Officejet Pro 251dw/ 276dw/ 8100/ 8600/ 8640/ 8660 (HP950) inkjet printers.
According to UniNet, “Absolute Color® Inks provide the highest density color prints in the industry featuring Premium quality, vibrant and fade-resistant colors.” Also, “the cartridges for the HP 950 standard yield are rated at 1,000 black pages and 700 pages for color; for High Yield they are rated at 2,300 pages for black and 1,500 pages for color. The cartridges for the HP 970 standard yield are rated at 3,000 black pages and 2,500 pages for color; for High Yield they are rated at 9,200 pages for black and 6,600 pages for color.” As revealed, the new ink products are pigment-based ink packaged in 1KG bottles, which can also work on CIS (continuous ink systems).
