Four German Aftermarket printer supplies providers, namely Delacamp, WTA, LDZ and KMP, have joined together to build the network DKWU. According to kmp.com, DKWU stands for Deutsche Kartuschen Wiederaufbereitungs-Unternehmen (German Recyclers of Printer Cartridges).
The network has launched a website www.dkwu-info.de to help dealers and decision-makers to distinguish more easily between OEM supplies, remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridges and new built Aftermarket cartridges coming from China.
Volker Kappius, COO of Delacamp AG (pictured), stated, “With DKWU-INFO, we’d like to clear the way for local recyclers of printer cartridges and raise the decision-makers’ awareness for cartridge remanufacturing. For only local suppliers can make a relevant environmental contribution by saving resources.”
