LMI Solutions has signed a new brand licensing agreement that will allow it to market and sell quality laser printer cartridges under the iconic Kodak brand through popular channels targeted at business users.
The Phoenix, Arizona based remanufacturer first started the licensing discussions with the Eastman Kodak Company at the RT Imaging Summitheld in Las Vegas in May 2015.
The award winning North American manufacturer of aftermarket toner cartridges, remanufactured printers, parts and managed print infrastructure is excited about the market opportunities it will provide. “It’s a completely different go to market model with tremendous upside with a brand name like Kodak,” stated Gary Willert, President and Chief Executive of LMI Solutions. “We believe today’s online consumers are making value driven decisions and our partnership with Kodak will deliver a top quality cartridge from a trusted brand at a lower price than the OEM cartridge.”
The company advised Recycling Times Magazine that with seven state-of-the-art distribution centers strategically located throughout North America and the recent doubling of production capabilities in late 2015, LMI Solutions is well positioned to handle the increased demand.
